Hi Amanda, Jessica calling. You must be at the party at the moment and I hope you’re wearing that fantastic blue dress we bought yesterday, are you? Anyway, I need your advice. My parents suggested that we go on a holiday to celebrate my birthday somewhere outside the city, either to the aqua park or to the mountain lake. They want me to choose. I’m really in two minds. On the one hand, the aqua park is more fun, but what would you choose if you were me?

- Oh Linda, yes, I’m fine. It’s my grandad who has got a problem. Severe pain in his stomach. The doctor is examining him at the moment, and you?
- I’m fine too. I’m here with my cousin Elle. She’s so afraid of dentists that she always skips her annual check-ups. However, now she cannot put off her visit to the dentist.
- Does it hurt?
- Elle says it does. Awfully. She wasn’t able to sleep at night. My aunt called me in the morning and asked me to go with her.
- To stop her running away from the doctor?
- Sort of.

- How about an excursion this weekend, Kate? We have been here for two weeks, but we haven’t seen anything except for the school library.
- Good idea, Fred. I’ve heard there’s a big aquarium in this city.
- It’s near the port, too far from the center. We won’t have enough time to get there and back. What I suggest is a guided walking tour in the historical center.
- It’s offered by the Student Center, isn’t it? I wouldn’t mind it either. I’ll contact them today to reserve two places for us in the group, shall I?
- Yes, thank you. I also thought about a sea boat trip, but everything is reserved for a month ahead.
